Did you know...

Journal Entry: Wed Jan 1, 2014, 8:54 PM

... that you can re-use a calendar, years later?

For example, this year you can use a calendar from

2003, 1997, 1986, 1975, 1969, 1958, 1947, 1941, 1930, or 1919

I got out my old calendars from '03 and plan to use them this year again~ Such nostalgia♥ (especially to see the things I wrote on them when I was MUCH younger...♪)

Just a little something to think about at the start of an all new year :aww:

EDIT:

Here is a neat tool online for finding out when you can re-use that favorite old calendar - great for those who might not want to go to the trouble of doing the math for a specific year~

Yes actually, I found that out some years back.
According to what you have up there, it seems to be every 11 years, twice in a row, then, 6 years difference, which would hint at a leap year effect.

Huh. Can't say I knew that. I wonder when I can use my 2013 calendar again.

You can actually re-use one from 2013 in 2019, so not too long actually :D (It mostly has to do with things like how many leap years there are, etc - leap year calendars sometimes can't be used again for decades for that reason^^)

Wow. In 97 I think I had a Pokemon calendar.

You can re-use that one this year if you happen to still have it tucked away somewhere ;p

It's either in the garage or it was thrown out

Well I know now:D Very interesting tidbit, and good to know - I find that you always end up with multiple calendars for a year, but only really use one (if that). Now no more sad blank calendars, they just might have to wait awhile for their turn to come around again;)

Yeah :D That, and there are such cool pics on some calendars, it's almost sad when you have to change the month :cries: So it's like a nice jolt of nostalgia when you get to use them again :D
