Why you should pick ME to be YOUR Fiction Writer/Editor:

I'm a nerdy otaku who is so crazy about stories that I made the art of telling them into my profession!

I have an M.F.A. in Creative Fiction Writing with an emphasis on Writing, Editing, and Publishing, with 8+ years of experience in a variety of fiction genres as both a writer and editor. Feel free to check out my profile for examples of my work as I strive toward publishing my own series of Fantasy novels!

through Paypal or with DeviantArt points.

For novel-length manuscript editing commissions 400.00+ USD, a 60% down payment is required before I will begin work, with any remainder due prior to delivery of the edited document. All others and all writing commissions must be paid in full before work will begin.

Developmental Editing Addresses:

Character and Plot
Tension and Stakes
Setting
Showing vs. Telling
Dialogue and Subtlety
Pacing and Progression
among other Odds and Ends

One of the most frequent things I encounter with writers, especially storytellers, is people treating Revision and Editing as though they’re interchangeable words for the same process. Well…
THEY’RE NOT!
As an example, allow me to share a wonderful experience I had in one of my first creative writing courses:
It was a requirement for the final portfolio that students “Revise” their work. During discussion of this, one student asked,

In addition, I ask that you share with me your goals for your writing, for example, if you're just wanting to become a stronger writer and have more fun with writing, all the way to wanting to professionally publish your work either as a self or traditional publisher. You may also ask any 1 specific question (per 5000 words reviewed, up to a maximum of 5 specific questions per manuscript)  you may want to have focused on such as:

"Is the dialogue believable? Is there too much or too little?"
"Is the romance between these two characters going too fast or too slow?"
"How is the pacing? Does the story drag?"
"What are your thoughts about _____ character?"
"Can you follow the action in this scene?"

Or pretty much anything else that might concern you about your manuscript

I will address these questions as part of a supplemental review to go along with the in-text commentary on your manuscript. I provide a free supplemental review with larger manuscripts in order to summarize and really break down where your manuscript stands at present as a whole, as well as offer examples and additional information on where you might want to take your writing next.

Notes will be made in a .doc or .docx document using the Word Comments feature and Track Changes. For those without access to Word, I can also make notes in Google Docs.

The Life of a ShadowDawn
Any decent Shadow’s work begins at daybreak, following the form of “Master” to which it is tied. With the dawn I revive from my feinted slumber like clockwork, reacting to the sensation of sunlight bearing down. My body boils down to form, each shadow cell destructing just as yours did in our mother’s womb. Though I am barely a whisper as you let loose a raging cascade of noise, we are a perfect match; thrust into this world of light and meant to be together forever.
Morning
Some might think me a pest by mimicking your actions, friend, as perfectly as I do. A silent guardian, a petite angel bounding along lightly at your side among hills and valleys as you carry such a heavy burden in the morning sun. I like to think us companions, you and I – living the same life side by side. Each morning we dress from the dark closet in the furthest corner of the room, sift through the refrigerator for something to eat, and put on shoes before setting out into the

That Thing Some Might Call 'Married Life'In the middle of July, when the summer heat wavers thick above the blacktop and even the most vicious dogs pant feebly in the shade, a man walks down a barren road with a bulging plastic grocery bag in each hand.
Sweat soaked his dark green t-shirt, and dripped with each step from his disheveled black hair. He trudged through the sweltering heat just fast enough that his sandals didn’t melt to the blacktopped road, and ducked into a fenced-in, burned-out lot partly shaded from the sun by a tall, gray apartment complex.
“Good morning, Trish,” he said to a woman watering a droopy pot of slightly brown herbs set out on her windowsill in the full sun. Her bright red fingernails stood out against the blue-tinted Fuji water bottle. She spilled some water on herself at the sound of a male voice calling her, but her panicking eyes softened when she saw the man approaching.
“It’s you, Sam,” Trish exhaled in relief. With her hands on the windowsill she

Kawena Volume 1 Child of the Sky Part 1Teacher once told me, “There’s no difference between water and air.”
Just like then, I have always found his words to be true.
Whether it’s weightless wind threading my wings or water cupped in my webbed fingers as I propel through that dense world… in both water and air I always feel at home, and hardly recognize the moment when I traverse that line.
In the glittering slate-gray lake beneath me dozens of fish swished their tails back and forth in unhurried rhythm. They swam unaware of me hovering not too far above them in flows of wind so persistent I needed to only shift a single feather to hold myself steady in flight.
My pale grey reflection, covered almost entirely in the skins and scales of the very same sort of fish swimming the pocket of water below, was pierced only by a pair of vibrant golden eyes staring back at me as though I too were a fish being hunted. Instead of a tail or fins though, a long braid of silverblue hair lashed the air and occas
